A Personal Mission
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Karn Sharma made an unconventional choice. Instead of pursuing a traditional medical career, he decided to address a fundamental problem he'd witnessed throughout his training: the communication gap between doctors and patients.
Coming from a working-class family that couldn't afford concierge medicine or extended doctor visits, Karn understood firsthand how the healthcare system often fails those who need it most.
This reality hit home when his own niece struggled to receive proper care, spending months bouncing between doctors who couldn't understand the full scope of her symptoms.
